who are the whisperers??? simple explanation would be ghosts or angels... someone to watch over me... island explanation might be jacob and his group have some kind of surveliance system on/of the island and are watching and measuring and evaluating human behavior as it occurs...bringing the island to be some sort of behavioral experiment... were the LOSTies brought therer purposely? accidentally?? by fate or by a Higher Power or by a diabloical human power???

where/what is the beginning of this place? how did it get here? made made or natural?? or both??

i do like this better:

whisperers... they seem to be part of jacob's minions... if jacob is nature, captured on the island... and he needs the help of humanity.. at least one person who has the ability to become one with the land... (walkabout) to be released, i think he has elements that watch humanity...like the sun and the wind and parts of nature that you can't see but you can feel and hear... that help it. these things occcur worldwide so, if we listen hard enough, we can hear them...especially when we least expect it or need it most...

this is all off the top of my head... it's been swimming in my brain and has flowed out... make any sense???
