Anne in Auckland, New Zealand: This Lost hiatus is killing me! Got anything on Sawyer?
In the beginning of season four, Sawyer is...on Team Locke! I can tell you that there are two teams and that the other leader won't surprise you...but Kate's allegiance will. Got guesses on the two teams and the second leader? (His name may rhyme with "frak"...) Comment below! Oh and P.S. As far as I know, Jin and Sun aren't playing for either team. Suspicious? You bet!

Lyly in Tours, France: Can you tell me if you have something about Lost for the new season, please? Especially about Sawyer and Kate...
All I can say about Sawyer and Kate is this: "If you love something, set it free. If it comes back to you, it's yours. If it doesn't, it never was." I know it's cheesy, but I'm cheesy, dammit, and I believe that's what's going on with S&K this season... 

Sofia in Mexico: Any news from Lost?
You know how in that episode of Dexter, when Doakes cornered Dex, Dex head-butted him and informed him he'd always be one step ahead? Well, that's pretty much how Ben is with the rest of us. In season four, it seems like Ben still has everybody'snumberincluding those on an incoming vessel. Boo-yah. I'm also hearing the show is currently casting fluent Franco-Tunisian voice actors for what must be episode seven or eight. Another hatchsicle? Oui ou non?

wondering. I mean being on Sawyers team wouldn't shock me, being on Jacks team wouldn't shock me. But the way it reads is that she's not on Sawyers team, so maybe she's with Jin and Sun?

wouldn't surprise me! she doesn't want to commit to jack and sawyer needs to find himself... hope locke can help him with that... for kate to 'sit on the fence' with jin and sun would fit her character!
wonder where des ends up? and hurley... will probably stay with jack... claire willl for the baby... sayid? hates locke so he will be jack's team... does danielle chose a side?

Zzzzzz...What?! Oh, sorry, I was just tracking Jack and Juliet's romantic progress in the first four eps of Lost. Must have fallen asleep there for a sec.

Gina in Italy: Can you confirm that the fourth season premiere of Lost is a Hurley episode?
Confirmed. And Hurley's flash-forward includes cameos by two regular characters (one living, one dead) and a flashback character from season two.

 

Thomas in Ventura, California: What can you tell me about Ben-Henry this season on Lost? Michael Emerson owns that show.
Yes, he often does. And I think it's fair to say that this season Ben reminds me a little of Boss Tweed or Don Corleone in his heyday. He's on the wrong side of the law, but he has rock-solid relationships with grand pooh-bahs, with little people and with everyone in between, and as such, his influence extends to places you'd never imagine.

Emily in Emerald Isle, North Carolina: Any news on Lost? It's been 24 days and counting! I think the whole fandom's going insane from lack of spoilers. What's going on with our two favorite doctors? How about our two favorite convicts?
Honestly, everything I've heard so far is so fantastic and surprising, I'm reluctant to go there, but I'll throw you a few more bones to chew on:

(1) Trust in the words of the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: "Don't panic."

(2) Shows like Lost, Damages, Battlestar Galactica, Mad Men and Dexter are grandmaster chess. The writers are Kasparov, and we are...not. In short, we're getting played (and it feels so good).

(3) Just because we're getting flash-forwards does not mean we learn now how it all turns out. Being at the "beginning of the end" means we're actually smack in the middle of the story. All the happily (n)ever afters for our Losties are not going to be revealed in this here second act of the story, so y'all just simmer down now! There's still plenty at stake.

Me too! She's now all dead, but she is, let's say, a presence in the next two episodes (at least).

Dave in St. George, Utah: So, what's up with these freighter people?
There are four of them, and the one that wasn't credited as a regular in the season premiere is my personal fave. Two of the others remind me of Sawyer (snarky and kind of mean) and Juliet (beautiful and capable), and the fourth? Well, before too long he's gonna be truuuh-bul.

 

Emmy in Louisville, Kentucky: Can you tell us any more about this "fascinating" Sawyer-Kate scene in episode three?
In the Island's big game of capture the flag, Kate gets tagged out by the other team and sent to "jail." Lucky for her, she's in good with the jailer...

Masha in Miami: Any news on Ben's relationship with Locke this season?
Well, before too long, it's better than Locke's relationship with Jack.

Ben's relationship with Locke has more to do with Ben's natural ability to get anyone he wants to do anything he wants without even really asking them
