Ok, Duncan Hines has a red velvet cake so I think I will take the easy way out and make that. Would it taste good with chocolate frosting though? Everyone seems to make it with buttercream or cream cheese frosting...

Thanks.  I turned in a couple of applications but I never did any follow-up so I'm figuring that I've missed the opportunity for that.  My job history doesn't look so great which is probably going to prevent me from getting a really good job.  Oh well.

Your best bet would be to go with a chocolate buttercream frosting.  (The store-bought frosting is not so great tasting after you've had a good homemade frosting.)

That's when you kinda dress it up a bit. First, I never say I was fired from a job. I try to leave out jobs that ended badly as much as possible. Make unemployed times into self-employment kind of things ...

I've never been fired, I've just never worked anywhere for very long so there are lots of short time spans.  (And it's hard to dress up your employment in a half-inch box on an application.)

It would be so coool if you could figure out how to turn that red velvet cake into a coffin ...Bake it in a rectangle pan .... if you could find a way to have some timbstones around it ... some plastic bats ....

I don't know, I would think being a full-time college student, it wouldn't really matter what your job history is.

That would be cool! I just don't want to have white frosting because that wouldn't go with our theme and colors.
